Jacquelyn Campbell Among World’s Top Researchers

Professor Jacquelyn Campbell, PhD, MSN, RN, FAAN, Anna D. Wolf Chair of the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, has been named among the Best Social Sciences and Humanities Scientists in the world by Research.com.

Campbell’s position (No. 43) in the ranking is based on a D-index (Discipline H-index), which includes papers and citation values for an examined discipline.

Research.com’s best scientists ranking is a list of leading scientists from the area of Social Sciences and Humanities, based on an examination of 166,880 scientists on Microsoft Academic Graph. For the discipline of Social Sciences and Humanities, over 10,371 profiles were examined.

From Research.com: “Jacquelyn C. Campbell spends much of her time researching domestic violence, suicide prevention, psychiatry, occupational safety and health and injury prevention. She combines subjects such as health care, demography, clinical psychology, mental health and social issues with her study of domestic violence. Her work deals with themes such as psychological intervention, nursing, social psychology, medical record and medical emergency, which intersect with suicide prevention.”
